If you watch the movie "Good Old Freda" which is about the girl they hired to run the Beatles Fan Club, there is an episode where Lennon tried to fire her, against the wishes of the other 3 Beatles. She wouldn't speak to him again until he apologized. He does sound like he was kind of a dick.

I have another bizarre fact. The lead Japanese pilot on the Pearl Harbor raid, went on to fly from Hiroshima the day BEFORE the bomb dropped, and then flew back to Hiroshima the day AFTER the bomb dropped. He did survive the war. (He later became a Christian minister) |
