They are until you have a close encounter with one. Bears and mountain lions are the reason I pack serious heat in the back country.

Dont want to end up in there. Saw a bear eat a deer in michigan. Didnt see the hunt but the deer was still kickin when i happened on it wirh my rhino. Heard my engine, looked around and went back to work.
