Indian Tourist Attacked by Tiger During Photo Posing Attempt
On May 29, 2025, an Indian tourist, believed to be in his late 20's, was attacked by a tiger at Tiger Kingdom in Phuket, Thailand, while attempting to take a picture of him next to the tiger. Video shows the tourist walking alongside a chained tiger, accompanied by a trainer with a stick. As the tourist crouched to pose for a photo, the tiger lunged, mauling him and causing panic. The tourist sustained minor injuries and survived. The incident has sparked fresh debate, with many using it to highlight a bigger concern– the exploitation of wild animals for human entertainment. The video has brought renewed criticism of these facilities, with strong calls from many urging a complete ban on such close-up animal interactions. |

That’s a perfect video! All smiles until they learn the truth. It’s a wild animal not a pet tiger. |

If they would put more growling in there it would sound just like a man being attacked by a tiger.

It's like those cute cat videos on Facebook. Except it's a tiger eating a guy. But other than that, it's exactly the same! |

Perhaps don’t poke at the formerly calm tiger.

I don't think the Tiger originally planned to maul the man. But he was hungry and just thought Phuket

I like the sound of that little stick hitting the bad tiger as if it would deter the tiger.
