A friend of my brother's has the disease, and before that his mother had it. He has two children, both of them have about a 50/50 shot of having the disease. My brother's friend has decided against telling his children that they might also fall victim to something so vicious. He wants them to enjoy everything life has to offer them without feeling this albatross around their necks.
