Hummingbird Migration Map

I know im gonna lose my ManCard over this, but....
for those of you who like to put out feeders for hummingbirds(and live in north America), this website compiles user sighting reports and plots them on a map. it gets updated daily.
they aren't in my neck of the woods just yet but ill probably be making some sugar solution and hanging a feeder this weekend.

Re: Hummingbird Migration Map

I feel sorry for folks living in areas without hummingbirds. Here in the Americas we're so blessed with these amazing little guys; they can fly both backwards and upside down. They're the only bird that can.

Re: Hummingbird Migration Map

I have Anna's & Allen's/Rufous here.
The Anna's are here year round, and the others are only here during migration.

Beautiful, aggressive little bastards.

this data only documents ruby throats, but I suppose the other species would mirror the same migration pattern
