Crows and Ravens, Very clever birds.
Sometimes a Sign of luck, it is also associated with the archetype of the trickster; Witches seem to like them too!

yeah man... i fuckin love birds my wife and i are amateur bird watchers. we started trying to id and keep track of all the local birds about 5 years ago or so.

not a lot of 'exotic' birds where i live now though. there are some red tailed hawks that live nearby and they come feed in the field that's across the street from my apartment....i watch them hunt everyday pretty much.

im a bit obsessed with avians.

that's awesome! we have a few that visit here...and i have a Rufous Hummingbird skeleton and feathers he got stuck in a greenhouse i was demolishing for a job... found him between the wall, skull and beak still perfect. i'll take a pic with my wife's phone later...

we also have a lot of woodpeckers here, which is pretty fuckin cool... my wife's favorite bird is the Red Shafted Northern Flicker. Gorgeous bird! it's a woodpecker that feeds on the ground....
