Re: How Much Tobacco is in a Marijuana Blunt?
1 smoke a day is so insignificant. The problem with smoking is the body is ingesting more than it can process. Doesn't allow your body to break down and expel anything. Same thing with fat people, you can eat sugar and still be healthy. But if you ingest more than your body can burn, you gain weight. The second problem is, while nicotine is addictive, it can have beneficial health impacts. The negative health consequences are mostly derived from the many other chemicals in and added to tobacco, not necessarily the nicotine . I am also a long term stoner, daily 12 years now with a bong. I'm Australian and it is common (less and less nowadays) to 'spin' your weed with tobacco. I usually use a 20%tobacco/80%weed mix. I'm one of the healthiest 32 year old's I know. Good lung capacity, no sign of cancer (yet), regular exercise, regular, consistent sleep, constructive, up to date with my financial commitments and ahead on my mortgage. There is just a stigma attached to smoking. The problem with stigmas is; most people live up to the stereo type. Their submission to their addiction is also a submission to the stigma. I know smoking is unhealthy, no matter how you present it. There are just different ways to approach it. But at the end of the day, this just sounds like a waste of time. Smoking 5 blunts of carbonised plant matter is far more detrimental on your body than the one cigarette in those 5 blunts.. |
