The Korowai's houses are built at a height of up to 30 meters, protecting them from floods and wild animals. These dwellings are not just a shelter, but also a symbol of skill.

The bark walls, woven floors, and leaf roofs make their houses safe. Climbing up to these dwellings requires skill, but for the Korowai, it's a normal part of life.
