Re: The Homeless. The Hopeless. Drugs, Hookers, and Children in St. Petersburg, Russia
[QUOTE=rottenflesh;1783771]Here are some pictures. Not of death, but not of life either. Russia claims that officially there are about 700k homeless children, however NGO's place the figure between 2 to 4 million. Some factors that contribute to this dilemma are: family breakdown poverty famine physical and sexual abuse exploitation by adults dislocation through migration urbanization and overcrowding acculturation disinheritance or being disowned The orphaning of children as a result of HIV/AIDS is another cause that might be added to this list also. Hope is nothing but a myth to these who live but don't have life. tl;dr: Nothing to see here. Go back to saying how hard your life is.[/QUOTE In 10 Years in Europe and USA... COMING SOON! |

Re: The Homeless. The Hopeless. Drugs, Hookers, and Children in St. Petersburg, Russia
If what you're referring to is crackheads and meth-heads in the U.S, I'm pretty sure you'll find a large collection of pictures on the internet alone. Why put much emphasis on Russia? Because the average viewer is surprised to see this happening there. And yes this existed under Soviet administration as well but to a much lesser extent. |

Re: The Homeless. The Hopeless. Drugs, Hookers, and Children in St. Petersburg, Russia
You want to deny the truth? Don't be a horses ass. I visited Russia. And I DELIBERATELY avoided such scenes and yet I still found plenty like it. Massive amounts of vicious dogs with no control. Starving children eating crust of bread and standing in the cold all day. Old women who would happily make me a pair of socks for only a HOPE of money. Just bring me hand woven socks and push them to me. Ones they had woven the day before when they knew I was in town. We have nothing like this in USA on this scale. Yes it exists in a small micro way. But nothing on this horrific scale. The reason Russia can not address this problem is because to Russia Government this does not exist. They are BLIND. I could tell you more but you are a denier. This display broke my heart and caused me alot of pain. Russian children are the sweetest if given a chance. These children have been robbed of any future. I personally spent 30,000 just to help one kid. I am sure he doesn't realize where his good fortune came from or what it cost me. But he has a better life for it here in USA. What have you done for these children? NOTHING but deny the truth. Show me your USA photos ok? Or Shut the "eF" up. |
