Re: A History of Lethal Injection
So are we suppose to feel bad about those sentenced to death? I don't think we should. Their in there for a reason. You think a crowd of people in mob mode feels bad for the guy they just lit on fire for whatever reason ? Do you think the government feels bad when they let thousands of our citizens die in a politicians mess in some other country ? Do you think a cop feels bad when he smashes some person off the ground ? Do you think a crack head feels bad that he just shanked some lady for her purse ? I'm a sympathetic man too, but when a person is on death row for their crimes, and they know their guilty. Why should we feel bad for them ? Maybe a little ? But if some loser killed one of my family members. I wouldn't feel a thing for that person. I would pissed that they didn't let me have 1 minute with them before they give them the needle. And I think they should all die by firing squad. Let them feel some pain too.. |

Re: A History of Lethal Injection
Lethal injection is just another example of humans trying to do the right thing but being humans it always gets fucked up. It SEEMS like a humane way of killing someone, on paper; just get a few prestigious doctors together to write their names on some paper. But of course all people are different and some doses don't always work one size fits all. But whatever. I'm still laughing at the other dude who said rope is still cheap.

compound that with (at least in the US) the difficulty there now is even getting the drugs needed. now they substitute drugs with other drugs and they have had a lot of cases where it just flat out fails. im against the idea of capital punishment altogether but.... that's a topic for another thread, another day. |

Re: A History of Lethal Injection
There was another botched execution in Arizona, I think, today (or yesterday?). It is funny that just about anyone on this forum can, within an hour, figure out a way to die of a drug overdose, but the State can't figure out how to kill a man with barbiturates and fucking table salt!
