High Resolution Pictures From World War II
They are taking old pictures from World War II slides and remastering them in some way to gain these types of high resolution images. The start by scanning the original slides, but the rest of the process I am unsure about.

There was an air show going on in Long Beach, CA a few years ago. (I didn't realize it at the time.) I was driving along the street and saw a B-17, B-24 and some other WWII era plane all flying in formation. It was like going back in time. It was a trip.  Many planes in WWII were built in the old McDonnell Douglas that adjoined Long Beach airport. To see them flying again where they once flew so long ago was really something. These photos evoke similar feelings. |

Chris it is a series of filters in photoshop used in a certain sequence that creates the HDR effect/plus a good eye for detail when spot retouching select areas. I use it when doing restorations  |
