Re: Guy Rescues Fox Pup from a Dog Food Can Over Its Head
Poor little kit. I hope mom was somewhere nearby and they were able to reunite.

I think that man is going to make sure the kit gets safely back to mom. Or if there is no mom, he will see to it's feeding. I have a feeling mom is not around. Shoot, I would have bundled that bugger up and fed him.... |

Re: Guy Rescues Fox Pup from a Dog Food Can Over Its Head
In high heels, drunk and coming home from mcdonalds after the bar, as a passenger in my friends SUV I saw a baby skunk with a Tim hortons iced cap stuck on it's head on the side of the road (An iced Capp is a plastic cup with a tapered lid, that holds a cappuccino type drink, very dangerous for wildlife, as the smell is inviting, it's easy to get their head in, but almost impossible to get it out) Immediately I screamed to pull over and let me out. To my surprise she kept driving and insisted I would get sprayed. I told her I didn't care I would walk back if I did. So she pulls over, I hop out and stumble my ass over to someone's driveway where the baby skunk was just about to wander into the road. He couldn't eat, drink, smell or see. He was facing the other direction as I walked up and I don't know how you call a skunk, so I called him like you would a cat...he turned his head/iced Capp towards me and I thought, well it's now or never. I grabbed the iced Capp and pulled, but fuck me if it didn't come off. I'm tugging and tugging, a fucking skunk by it's face, 3am, hammered, in the middle of some guys driveway, in high heels and a mini skirt. Not how I thought my night would end up. So I lifted it up, and now I'm holding a skunk by it's head, and jerking it up and down. Eventually the seal of the top lid and cup broke, and he was freed, but with a plastic collar around his neck. I was concerned about that, but at least he could see, smell, eat and drink now, so he would survive. I hoped he would eventually scratch the collar off. He never sprayed once during the entire ordeal. I truly believe he understood I was trying to help him. Please dispose of your litter and garage carefully and properly people! |

Re: Guy Rescues Fox Pup from a Dog Food Can Over Its Head
So stinkin cute! I think animals know, when you are trying to help. I pulled a massive adult raccoon, no gloves or any kind of protection out of a chain link fence. He/she could have bitten me a half dozen times, but was totally chill...didn't even make a peep. Let me yank them out and went on their way, after looking at me for a second... |
