Greater Mouse-Eared Bat
January 20, 2014: A bat expert holds a greater mouse-eared bat in the basement of an old brewery in Frankfurt, Germany, on January 17. Equipped with lights, ladders, mirrors & writing pads, conservationists annually count the bats in the vaults of the former brewery cellar.
