Grasshopper Moulting

Grasshoppers shed their skin, known as molting, as they grow. The grasshopper molts because it has an external skeleton (exoskeleton) that supports and protects their body, unlike the internal skeleton (endoskeleton) of a human.

The whole process takes around 40 minutes
