I think he was playing it up to be worse than it really is I have had the same process done to me in the hospital and it was not that bad being extremly hungry is way worse

It's a hunger strike force feeding. They don't want to eat but they are being forced to, to be kept alive for persecution or prevention of charges on any officers. Mos Def most definitely didn't have to demonstrate this  |

I had gotten stabbed in a bad area of Miami , so they put in a chest tube to drain the blood , I was lucky , the bleeding stopped , I was admitted and spent a few days in a room . There was a retarded guy in the room as well , he had a nose tube , just like that one in his nose . The fucking guy would not shut up . So I reached over and untied his right hand , ( he was restrained ) . He would pull out the tube , and then be quiet . But the nurses came and tied him back up ,,, then reinserted the fucking tube back in his nose . And then the fucker would start the annoying noise all over again . (( you have to understand , I had a 1/2 " aluminum pipe in the side of my chest )) , and I was in alot of fucking pain . His struggling and shit was intolerable . The nurses would leave , and I would reach over and untie his right hand again . He would pull out the tube , and then be quiet . I cannot remember how many times I did this , but it was painful watching them insert it over and over . I had forgotten all about it until I saw this video . I was at the JACKSON MEMORIAL TRAUMA CENTER in downtown Miami . Did you know the military sends its medics to that trauma center so the guys can get trauma experience ??? ---------------- Yeah , I bet they don't put that in the tourism brochures . hahahahahaahahahahahah I am a madman, a product of my environment.

Read my comment below ,, it fucking DOES hurt . Unfortunately , I was the guy who made a retarded guy go thru it numerous times . I was one sick puppy back then . Almost died , the trauma surgeon said the knife missed my heart by only 2 or 3 milimeteres -- good - ole Miami in the 1980's

thats awful. No doubt im sure there was SOME "overly dramatic" acting in there but if anyones ever experienced a NG tube then they know it usually is and CAN be very painful.... apparently nobody bother to tell Mos Def and the detainees to swallow during the insertion to minimize pain
