They may just appear that way since it's not a close up, but, I don't know if people bought detailed or decorated bands back then.

Most wedding bands were heirlooms passed down through the generations...and heirloom or not, they were hand made personally or by a family member, close friend or neighbor. That's how we Jews rolled back in the day.

Odds are those jews didn't use 24k, but still, 10k, half the weight in gold... $20,000,000 in that box. Wow! Let's say there's only 1,000 rings in that box and 10k rings = approx $2,000,000 on today's market.

Add in all the other shit that was stolen (land included), it's the biggest heist in history (leaving out grand schemes like The Federal Reserve, Bernie Maddoff, and Powerball lotto etc.)!
