They are actually pretty cramped. A whole lot less spaceous than photos generally suggest. Still, they are amazing creations. |

2002, hiking in AZ, my gf and I climbed up to a notch in a canyon wall about 30' across and 10' deep. There were artifacts there strewn all around. Hopi, I think, centuries old. Suddenly we both felt, well not pushed, but pressure - that's the only way I can describe it - forcing us toward the edge and out. We hiked down in a hurry and said an apology out loud. Something definitely did NOT wanT us up there. Freaky as fuck. Some things you just don't mess with.

Yeah a lot are different. I think I was watching a documentary a while back about the cliff dwellings in China, it was almost like a one story mansion in the mountain. They all come in different shapes and sizes.

Those chinese cliff dwellings are probably cheap imitations of other cliff dwellings in the world just like the cheap use and throw products the chinese manufacture and sell around the world.
