Frigate Hit by Mk48 Torpedo

(Leander) Frigate hit by a Mk48 Torpedo fired from a RAN Collins Class Sub during a live fire excersie.

The "under the keel " shot is when the torpedo does not acutally hits the target but explodes directly under the keel, breaking the back of the ship.

holy shit! i am guessing that either this is target practice, or that they are sinking this for an artificial reef.
