He over-rotated the jump which seriously screwed up the landing. However, it does not appear that the overshot the landing, especially by 53m. Other landing marks are near where this dude landed.

In his career, Candide Thovex, who has participated in the Freeride World Tour (the world freeride ski circuit), has experienced numerous falls. In 2007, when he was 25 years old, he broke a vertebra after jumping the "Big Bertha", a module several tens of meters long. An injury which gradually took him away from official competitions and brought him more into video content and films. Even the best make mistakes. |
