Flaming 'meteor' Captured on CCTV Hurtling Through Night Sky
This video shows what looks like a meteor hurtling through the night sky towards Earth.

The flaming object was filmed by a CCTV camera as it zoomed over America's Midwest.

Hundreds of people in the region reported seeing a fireball in the skies over the region on Boxing Day.

The American Meteor Society said it received nearly 700 reports of a burning object over the border of Iowa and Minnesota.

This footage of the 'meteor' was captured by a camera used by the streets department in North Liberty, Iowa.

No official landing site has yet been reported.
