I knew Clyde Tombaugh. Both he and his brother were members of our machinist group in Tucson. He spoke to the club a couple of times about the process of discovering Pluto. He was a very unassuming individual, but you could tell he was extremely bright. He would have LOVED to have seen these pictures. He never saw anything except the most blurry, tiny images. But it was HIS planet. Oh, and by the way, PLUTO IS A F*****G PLANET!!! |
