I love your avatar :) The Tezcatlipoca Mask out of Mexico and on display at the British Museum in London, UK. I stared at it for maybe 40 minutes in person when I visited. Its one of the most beautiful pieces in there. Each year in the early sixteenth century, the Mixtec of Oaxaca were required to supply the Mexica emperor, Motecuhzoma II, with 10 turquoise mosaic masks. They were made from real Human skulls, pyrite, leather, lignite, and shell.
