Fen Tiger Spotted in England

A scary Fen tiger “bigger than a labrador and with a wider neck” has been pictured lurking in Cambridgeshire.

The large cat has been sighted intermittently for more than 30 years with nobody able to identify for certain the animal.

Jamie Newby, and his fiancee Hayley, were able to get a rare snap of the “scary” tiger while on holiday in Ipswich. Jamie, 46, from Wisbech, spotted the beast 400 yards away from their AirBnB.

Jamie told: “Our first thought was maybe it was a Muntjac deer as we had seen one the day before in the same field. “It was my fiancee who said that it looked like a big cat. We grabbed some binoculars the owner had left in the room.

“I grabbed my camera and used the zoom function to film what you can see in the footage. “Sadly my memory card was only 2GB and the footage maxed the card out and my camera shut down as it pounced on or killed something. “Only after searching online did we see it could have been a Scottish Wild Cat.

“The size of it instantly struck me. I’d seen a dog walker walking a labrador in the same exact spot the day before and the cat looked bigger than that.

“I’ve read a little more about them and they do hunt early between 6-7am and they like staying on the perimeter of fields.” He added: “My fiancee said it had a scary, evil face. She’s never liked cats!”

Re: Fen Tiger Spotted in England

Were you half asleep when putting this together, Mister? Muhaha!

Cambridgeshire, Ipswich + Scotland are not the same places!

Ipswich is in Suffolk + is around an hour away from Cambs. Scotland is about 7 hours away!

Every time i hear the name Ipswich, it makes me think of Monty Python's dead parrot sketch.

I have yet to see any large, wild cat that looked like a domestic cat.

They don’t have the same markings or body structure as domestics.

This looks like a domestic.
