Good morning.

I've been searching thoroughly and couldn't find anything regarding these photos / this case.

I'll just give the jist of the whole thing since there are just too many odds and ends to make it compartmented in a way that isn't a conspiracy novel's layout.

In may of 2009, norwegian citizens Tjostolv Moland and Joshua French (also british), were arrested in The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for killing their hired driver, Abedi Kasongo, father of six.

In May 2009, two Norwegian nationals—Tjostolv Moland, 28, and Joshua French, 27—hired a Congolese taxi driver from Kisangani (Abedi Kasongo, 30), murdered him, fled with his car, and were arrested afterwards. The two men were charged with murder and espionage. “On 8 September, Moland and French were found guilty of premeditated murder, attempted murder, espionage, armed robbery, and attempting to form a criminal association. Interesting stuff:
-Evidence were gathered in black plastic bags. They were on numerous occasions produced and put back in the same bags during the investigation. (Prints and so forth.)
-They were clearly there to start some form of security detail (read mercenaries).
-The congolese government accused them of espionage and whatnot. The first death sentence also stated that they'd pay 1$ US per citizen in the DRC. Which amounts to about 60,000,000.
-Two other congolese passengers reportedly fled the vegicle after Kasongo was killed.

In august of 2013, Tjostolv Moland, the one who shot Kasongo (the crazy fuck in the pics) was found dead in the cell he shared with French. From what I understand he got another life sentence for murdering him. (Norway sent four people to assist in the investigation and autopsy, but weren't happy with the limitation of their insight.)

Anyway.. Since there's basically no gore in here, I thought it could also be a general "face after crime" thread, I, for one, haven't seen a lot of people after they've done something horrendous.

The picture of when he's cleaning out the car is purportedly taken by French in the minutes following the murder.

The macabre look on his face.
I just can't grasp it..

Military training to dissasociate yourself of course, but still, it feels like these boys were up to shenanigans!

The Congo, or Africa as a whole, isn't known for it's high quality law enforcement. There has to be way more to the story...

Well yes, a lot really.. The best place to start is the wikipedia page.
