Re: The End of Osama Bin Laden, In Pictures.
Why is it, though, that leftists hate the United States, even though it is the most progressive country on Earth? (progressive in the sense that there is real, tangible progress, not utopian pie in the sky bullshit).

Re: The End of Osama Bin Laden, In Pictures.
The most rational explanation is sour grapes and the fact that political and economic freedom of the United States trump their opposite (ie International Socialism).

Re: The End of Osama Bin Laden, In Pictures.
Erm, did you read the link you gave? "CAUTION Usama Bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 7, 1998, bombings of the United States Embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya. These attacks killed over 200 people. In addition, Bin Laden is a suspect in other terrorist attacks throughout the world."Made in June of 1999 Revised November of 2001. - pretty sure we didn't jump to conclusions, but that pretty much covers it. I'm with you when you say ..sometimes I hate all the stupid people in my country. As for the President making a qualified military decision - he is the commander in chief of armed forces. How is he not qualified? By stating we should have hidden the fact that Bin Laden is dead would have made the U.S. as big a coward as him. My family is all military, they have fought there and lived to tell the stories. My sister watched people fling themselves to their own deaths in Manhattan - you are saying the people involved (civilians, military and gov't) don't have the right to know about the man who has caused so much grief. We should hush because it's gonna cause a shit storm? We don't deem ourselves "brave" for the hell of just saying it.... |
