Elephant That Damaged Property Chased but Injures a Villager
A wild elephant entered the Kanke area adjoining Ranchi city on Sunday morning. Elephants broke the walls of many houses, also damaged tree plants. Panic spread due to the entry of elephants into Kanke's Nagdi and adjoining areas. The elephant is seen in the village. In a hurry, the villagers united and tried to chase the elephant. The villagers started trying to get the elephant away from the house, during this time a villager Shahid Khan got hit by it. The elephant severely injured Shahid by wrapping himself in his trunk. Meanwhile, due to a lot of noise from the villagers, the elephant left the injured Shahid and went to the other side. The villagers immediately informed the officials of Kanke police station and forest department. At the same time, the injured Shahid has been admitted to RIMS for better treatment. |

elephant probably got fed up by the poopy smell eminating from the village streets every hour of every day so he had a bit of a breakdown and went on a mini rampage. i feel for the poor guy, elephants are awesome.
