Re: Dogtags of All Deceased Military Personnel From Vietnam Displayed in Chicago
The Vietnam War was a stupid waste of lives, including a lot of children, for no reason. Send the politicians to war, decrease their salaries to minimum wage and bring our military home and give them what politicians make, if only for a year, to see how long they can stand it any place there is a war. |

Re: Dogtags of All Deceased Military Personnel From Vietnam Displayed in Chicago
They're not the actual ID tags of the service men and women, but the display contains one tag for each of them in honor. Haunting non-the-less :( |

Re: Dogtags of All Deceased Military Personnel From Vietnam Displayed in Chicago
You get two dog tags... One will stay with the body pretty much for good... The other is cemetery plot identifier that stays with the cemetery. However, I have seen dozens of wives get handed their husbands dog tags along with an American Flag. I personally hated the damn things because the beaded chain pulled my chest hair all the time. |
