Re: Dog Tried to Eat a Porcupine
No, it's not my dog. I'm glad I don't have to pay the bill of that vet. Here's some extra info: Mensa won’t be calling for this poor pup anytime soon. Redditor watabit posted this photo of a friend’s dog to the site Monday, right after he enjoyed a light lunch of porcupine and pain. The doggy genius reported to the vet, who gave him an anesthetic, then spent hours removing the quills one by one. He’s on antibiotics now and expected to fully recover. But here’s the kicker: It was the THIRD time this dog has tried to eat a porcupine. Which means one of two things: Porcupines are way delicious, or vets are telling dogs that to rake in the cash. |

Re: Dog Tried to Eat a Porcupine
I assisted one vet in the US with porcupine quill removal on a dog. Over a hundred quills... and it was probably the dog's fourth time in for the same thing. So wanted to punch the fucking stupid owner in the face for letting their dumbass dog do that to itself over and over again...
