These were very real 'experimental' surgeries done in Soviet Russia in the late 50's early 60's. The rumor was that it was also done with prisoners in the attempt of extending life. He also attached heads to other dogs bodies. Google it.

wow, thats pretty interesting....but cruel not that hard to achieve actually. All you need is pumping oxygen and dextrose enriched blood through the head. I am curious how it would work with a human head |
