Nope. There's some portuguese guy doing the same shit with ballpoint pen.

fake. He removes parts of the photo and then reverses the order. He is not using any known painting technique.

As skilled as it obviously is, why bother doing a hand painted/drawn rendition that is so accurate and realistic it looks exactly like a photograph?? What is the point??

this is excellent work! her exposed ear is what tells me it's a drawing.
