Did they ever stop to think they're taking away the winter meals of predators? A big part of winter survival is eating animals that didn't make it. Humans are horrible at letting nature take its course. I remember having a meltdown as a kid, watching baby birds jump out of the nest. They were fledglings. It was what they were supposed to do. |

The bears hibernate, the mountain lion/cougar is almost extinct...... No wolves either. What we do have is hybrid coyotes that can weigh 80 pounds or so, they are also part wolf and part domestic dog. They're attacking people and livestock and have a bounty on them. |
