This is a delicacy in parts of Cambodia. Apparently tastes great with Garlic and salt. I'd like to know the nutritional value!

The cruelty involved is shocking. The spiders' sensitive mouthparts are removed and they are fried ALIVE Be an outcry if it was done to more cute, furry things.

I ate a huge spider on the Phnom Penh riverside. Tasted like minced chicken on the inside and the outer shell wasn't too hard (unlike the cicada I ate later).
