Reptiles appear to stand guard around baby in YouTube video that has gone viral and has both shocked and horrified users.
A chilling video of four deadly cobras guarding a baby has shocked YouTube viewers all over the world.
A baby lies on a blanket while the four snakes seem to surround the tot like a four poster bed, guarding him from external threats.
Many viewers were horrified by the clips, with one saying, "how could any parent leave their baby with snakes."
But many more viewers were more sceptical saying this was a common trick in India where the cobras' teeth are removed, rendering them completely harmless.
Cobras are known for their distinctive hood and the way in which they strike their prey. But they are also a common feature in Indian snake charming and magic acts.

The only problem now is that the cobras are restricted to a diet of only oatmeal.

A lifetime of nothing to eat but oatmeal.

They dont remove the fangs. They use a long thread to sew the lips of the cobra closed. When I was in India I saw one of the snake charmer shows and the guide told me how they do it without getting bitten by the snakes.
