Nearly 70 million gallons of oil were dumped into the waters, six times more than the Exxon Valdez. BP's well has been leaking for 49 days at (340000 US gallons; 1300000 liters) per day, that's 16,660000 liters to date. It would appear to me, if there's no drunken captain to blame you hear nothing. The people and animals will be hurt by this and BP will get away with it. Only here do the corporations have so much power. The people need to start running this country again. They have to have a way to stop this but theyre trying to siphon the oil not stop it, even now theyre still after profits.

a completely preventable catastrphe. fuck BP, they should be forced to pay for every bit of this problem until the area is completely restored. after that they should then face crimminal charges. fucking assholes.  |
