How very sweet.  Is it unusual for them to sit along the roadside? I don't know much about koalas but I thought they stayed in the trees as much as possible. Certainly an incredible video. |

Awww! Too sweet!! My best friend since 8th grade moved to Australia a few months ago. I'm going to have to ask her about that being on the roadside.

Koalas get their water from their food (eucalyptus leaves), or moisture on the leaves but if there's a shortage or drought etc, they will search elsewhere. |

They are usually fairly slow movers but that one seemed as though he may have fallen out of a tree & was a bit stunned,I was born in Victoria & lived there for most of my life (40 years), never saw one Kaola in the wild. They usually hang out in the gum trees & are shy, that one is very friendly for a wild Kaola
