They're cute, but stupid-as-hell, very slow, and prone to carry leprosy. Armadillos have moved into SW MO, particularly around landfills. They're as dumb as possums, but half as mobile. You almost have to wreck your vehicle to avoid them on the road, which is why we call armadillos "armored possums" around here.  |
