Crow Hitches a Ride on a Bald Eagle

Incredible images of an animal very casually hitching a ride on another have been captured – this time, a cheeky crow taking a mid-flight pit stop on the back of a majestic bald eagle.

Re: Crow Hitches a Ride on a Bald Eagle

Why disliking my post, Illusion? Did you PS these pictures by yourself?
Let me tell you this:
Pictures 1,2 and 5 are pretty well done but 3 and 4 give it all totally away
The eagle's head is EXACTLY the same in all 5 pictures.
The exact same feathers, the exact same angle.
The eagle in 3 and 4 is sooo obviously put together...could even be a drawing!

Sooo...how long do you think has it taken this crow to land on that flying eagle?
It must have been at least several seconds. And you really do believe that an eagle's head does not make the slightest change in this time....?

I'll take my chances with a reputable source and a biologist who specializes in crow behavior at the Cornell lab of Ornithology over some random idiot on the internet, however I do appreciate your concern with the legitimacy of these pictures.. Thanks again.

Re: Crow Hitches a Ride on a Bald Eagle

Cool, I prefer zooming into pictures over self-proclaimed experts from labs that sound like bouillon cubes.
