Croc Vs Shark
And the winner is: CROC apparently! WHO would win in a fight between a crocodile and a shark? The mighty croc won this round, judging by the spectacular photo on the front page of The NT News. English tourist Peter Jones was 30 minutes into a Guluyambi Cruise on the East Alligator River, Kakadu National Park, with his wife, his Darwin-based CareFlight doctor son Robert Jones, and daughter-in-law when he snapped the front page photo of the snapping handbag and the unlucky bull shark. "Its hard for me to say how large they both were as I lack the experience in estimating the size of both crocs and sharks, both being very rare in rural Cambridgeshire," Mr Jones told The NT News. "Big, springs to mind, even bloody huge or perhaps enormous. Our guide referred to both the croc and shark as being 'very big'. "(It) finally answers the age-old question posed by school kids across the globe from time immemorial: Croc versus shark, which would win? Croc, as it happens." The tour boat had interrupted the feast but the croc continued after they left. "Clearly the sharks mistake was venturing onto land. That would have put him at a distinct disadvantage. I've seen "Sharknado" so I know what I'm talking about." "We tried to get closer but the croc was having none of it, swimming off with its prize and returning to the bank once we'd left," Mr Jones said. "We had seen some big crocs already on the tour but this chap stood out." The family had been staying at nearby Merl Campground before the tour. "My son and some of his friends urged me to send this to (the NT News)," he said.
