Coalwood--home of the Rocket Boys
If you remember the movie "October Sky" here are some pics i took while traveling through the town where it actually took place. the pics of the school are the high school that homer hickam attended. it still stands behind the new school they built in front of it. pretty eery walking through those halls i hope these upload...i've never uploaded anything here before. the picture of the house is where he actually lived during his time there (i only know this because one of the guys i was with grew up there shortly after all of that stuff took place)          |

wow....those turned out huge. sorry about that guys. hopefully i can get this figured out for the next upload. in the picture of the gym that owl and the motto were added well after homer was gone
