Re: Chinese Tv Showing Road Deaths

One time I saw an idiot walk in front of a Ford F250 thinking he had the right of way. F250 was more right, wished I had a digital camera at that time. Tore him up in half.

nobody on those roads seem to have much sense. The pedestrians, anyway.

Re: Chinese Tv Showing Road Deaths

OMG...so much to say here but I will keep it long..
First off they seem to have run the audio backwards.
This is a real life frogger video. I mean, these idgits on these scooter and bikes have a clear line of sight but they all have the impression that cars are made of rice paper. I think if you live in Asia, ride a two wheeled bike powered by a Cox .049, you should have to wear an EOD bomb diffuser suit just to up your chances.

Re: Chinese Tv Showing Road Deaths

Lets not forget that only 20 years ago they were all riding bicycles. Its obvious that they still have some bugs to work out. They need to look up the word, "jay-walking", in the dictionary.

I'm a cyclist and I can tell you, that first one sends shivers up me spine no matter how many times I watch it. That was one brutal, violent way to die.

I was in Shanghi in 2002, and I saw plenty of scooters that looked (2 cycle oil smoke) and sounded like they were Cox.049 powered. A few ladies on such bikes had face masks and looked like the movie "Road Warrior", I think it was for the air pollution. As a kid, I made several kamikaze control line Cox .049 powered aircraft. Several ended up in flames.

Re: Chinese Tv Showing Road Deaths

That's incredible. Puts truth to the stereotype we all know.
