Re: The Bullshit Truckers Put Up With
I think alot of you are missing the point, when you are a trucker your job is driving all day erry day. So you encounter a lot more idiot drivers and accidents. People are also instinctively impatient when they a see a big slow truck and try to avoid it. Hes not saying theres a conspiracy against truckers, just that as a trucker who drives all the time you see it a lot more. |

Re: The Bullshit Truckers Put Up With
Some of you have totally missed what point I was making. I know people in cars deal with it too. But this is what truckers deal with like every 2-5 minutes because people are so impatient to be behind a big rig. I was with my dad and we almost collided with them in their small car. Had my Dad not been paying attention, his truck would have killed 3 people because of their stupidity. You people think I meant "oh ONLY truckers put up with this" but I am fully aware of you people experiencing it too. But I doubt most of you have ever even been inside a Semi so until you see what I've seen, you don't know what you're talking about. |

Re: The Bullshit Truckers Put Up With
I know exactly what you meant. Be cool, always leave yourself an out and drive defensively as if you are invisible. Has done me well for many years. That's in truck, car and on a bike. Good lock with your career young blood. |

Re: The Bullshit Truckers Put Up With
Also, truckers are not the only ones to put up with bad drivers, but it takes them a hell of a lot longer to come to a stop. Depending on the weight of the load they are hauling a car pulling out in front of them could mean a fatality.
