nope, i don't like ladybugs either. that ladybug wasn't playing, it was attacking and biting the sprinkles.
ofr course, they can bite and attack a person all day and all they will accomplish is a sore mouth. i'm not afraid of them but i won't pick one up either.
the nastiest thing i think i have seen out here in california is the jerusalem cricket aka a potato bug. they are not true potato bugs. but they are ugly ugly ugly. i have heard if they bite you it is very painful.
