A Brief History of Experimentation on Humans
For anyone who has heard of the atrocities of Japan's Unit 731, NAZI human experimentation, the CIA's Project MK-ULTRA, or anyone just interested in reading about human experimentation and/or government corruption and abuses generally, this document is a very valuable resource. It's a concise summary - a list - of human experimentation spanning from the 18th century to 2003. What's both illuminating and horrifying is that such human experimentation did not end in the 50's, as I had assumed, but has continued uninterrupted to the present. Some of the incidents mentioned break the Nuremburg Code. Others, despite the fact that many of the research subjects had not consented and were unwitting participants, were legal. Pigeon, this stuff blows my mind. If I didn't have to go up north today, I'd sit here and read everything I could about it all day. The one about the AIDS.. I mean, I leaned in closer to the screen to read it again.. It's just insane! Okay, whew, enough of my geeking out on this.. I have to get ready to go, but I will definitely come back and read the rest of this. Thank you for posting this!!  You get a billion stars!

Thank you for posting this human awesome! For the japanese unit, there is a film out there called Men Behind the Sun. Maybe i should look for a link. It's pretty fucking crazy. One of the more famous scenes is holding a chinese woman in stockades and pouring water on her hands and letting layers freeze.... then smashing them!!!!!  |

The aids in Hep B vaccine is a bit of a stretch. AIDS has always been prolific in fecal patrons.

I do notice the authors distinguished the data from the speculation (although they wouldn't have included it if they didn't agree with said speculation, obviously). It could very well be coincidence. But even assuming AIDS was not part of any illegal human experimentation, there is still a possibility that the Hep B vaccine was accidentally contaminated. I found that info very startling, in any case.
