this has nothing to do with bananas its over drugs, chiquita supports right with para military groups who are ALDREADYTHERE (and would remain regardless our support), many of the growers and others related to the trade are leftists, its a political/drug thing. in the end pointing fingers is useless its the people of the americas, north, south, and central who are fucked by this cartel shit, left or right, just remember that if you eat a banana, your helping a rebel, if you do drugs you support the cartel, either way your helping pay for the food of someones child in south america(and someones death), look at it that way and smile, or be sober and dont eat imported food
