The cyclotrope is a cycle of 18 images that is spun at a certain speed so that the frame rate of the camera filming it gives the illusion of animation. Created and animated by Tim Wheatley. Pretty neat stuff! Sure there's gunna be a few "fake!" comments tho. Probably more so now that I said it. |

meh, looks cool whether it's real or not. though i dont think it's real from watching the hand move during the video. if it is possible to do something like that though i wouldnt mind seeing it in person

Ever watch a fan when you turn it on? Blades start spinning one way and at a certain speed, it looks like they start in the other direction, same with a car wheel driving down the road. I think it's similar to that. |
