Beatles Abbey Road Photograph
Picture of cover of The Beatles album, Abbey Road, showing John, Ringo, Paul and George crossing the street. The view really is Abbey Road, London, NW8 looking north. The gates of the Abbey Road Studios are behind the white VW Beetle on the left, which, according to some proponents of the “Paul Is Dead” conspiracy theory, was parked there intentionally as a rebus.

Re: Beatles Abbey Road Photograph
I visited that spot, it's not too far from me. The amount of folk re-enacting that shot and holding up the traffic is funny! The outside low walls of the studios are smothered in fans' graffiti I also visited Primrose Hill where the Rolling Stones did a photoshoot for their "Between The Buttons" album. I've seen their once-awful Edith Grove flat in Chelsea and Brian Jones' grave in Cheltenham. |

Re: Beatles Abbey Road Photograph
They should just put a white VW bug there permanently.

Re: Beatles Abbey Road Photograph
You can actually see people crossing Abbey Road in real time. http://www.abbeyroad.com/crossing They even have an archive of people recreating the Beatles walk across at various times during the year. |

Re: Beatles Abbey Road Photograph
The license plate reads 28IF as in Paul would be 28 if he was alive when this photo was taken or so I have read http://www.trutv.com/conspiracy/cele...llery.all.html |
