I don't care what any of you guys say..i totally believe it.
Just because we have this mindset that some animals are prey and others are predominantly the hunters doesn't mean that from time to time the roles can't reverse leaving the so called prey the victor.

Shit, even tiny little warthogs can take down a fully grown lion if the circumstances are just right. However, I'm not sure about the mule in this case being a cereal cat killer though. They aren't nearly as fast as mountain lions, so it would be highly unlikely that the mule would survive repeated encounters.
