Babies Castle - Part 1
Nothing fantastic for now, and only a small post, but i thought some of you might like it. The other year i went to check out some places and documented stuff. Anyway, some of the places were derelict. Although i have thousands of pictures etc.. i will have to have a sort through, but one of my fav places was babies castle, This place is huge and only one of thousands of buildings left to rot in the UK. Info below. "The Babies Castle was officially opened on 9th August 1886 this institution was for the reception of babies. In 1908 Babies Castle became a mixed home for children under eight years of age. It was particularly used for babies and young children who, owing to their physical condition, were not suited for boarding out." You can read more on one of these links via google: http://tinyurl.com/csuvjzy Here is some pictures of mine. |
