Re: Attenborough - Lyre Bird

I swear to GOD, I laughed SO hard when I saw the second video, that I'm STILL coughing up phlegm today from the depths of my lungs from an athsma attack I laughed so hard and long!!!

See, I saw the 1st vid, and was amazed! And at the very end, I was like OMG, CHAINSAWS, even??!! Wow!!
I believed the chainsaws....Then I showed hubby, who laughed at the chainsaw part like it was a joke. I was like,
"What? You don't believe he did that too??"

So...I went back on youtube to find evidence it was indeed REALLY true that the bird did make the chainsaw sound also....That's when I found the second video----unseen footage!

So I was like, "LOOK! Nick, here's some more footage to prove it's real!"
Then I clicked the video, and when it started making all those other weird sounds, we both busted up sooooooooooooooooo hard, I almost peed....I laughed until I was literally choking...
My throat was hoarse for hours afterwards. hahahahaha....omg the best laugh in a longgggg time over that one. Talk about OWNED!

Re: Attenborough - Lyre Bird

It would be much safer living in your back garden than it is living in the wild, they are wonderful mimics of pretty much anything
I wonder if they are obtainable as pets....I'd LOVE one for my garden.

You have one, soar? Or...do you know of them firsthand? Seriously, what a neat animal.

Just as I was getting ready to search the black market for a "broker".

Re: Attenborough - Lyre Bird

LOL, Hey Pinkie, I did look online, right after hearing they were protected. No luck getting a chick......maybe a fertile EGG, we could get, and just put in a chicken's egg incubater.....You want one also?

I'm in. We NEED to have one of these to add to our menageries, right??
