Asanuma Assassination Photograph - 12 October 1960
This picture was taken only a second before the Japanese socialist Party leader Inejiro Asanuma was assassinated by an right wing student. Photographer Yasushi Nagao said he was only on the right place and on the right time. He received a Pulitzer price for this photo.

considering this is the picture which won the award, I would say that the picture is the real deal. the video of the assassination could easily have been recreated for a movie

yeah I was always worried I was the only one to ever notice simply cause I have never seen anyone say anything about the differences lol My only real issue with the picture is the fact that it looks almost staged...simply because everyone is around him like they could have stopped him long before he stabbed the guy...then again I am not sure when the photo surfaced (same day? next month?) and that would prolly be the biggest determining factor |

the pic is taken after he was stabbed if you watch the video he goes in the same direction as the assassin and people grab the assassin which both the video and the picture shows
